I studied music in college, where I learned how creativity can communicate what words sometimes cannot. Over the years, that same desire to create led me to painting, photography, and a deeper appreciation for the places and experiences that shape us.

Underwater photography became an especially meaningful part of that journey. Beneath the surface, the world feels quieter, more mysterious, and almost untouched. Photographing it allows me to capture moments that most people never get the opportunity to see. My friend Geoff played an important role in inspiring me to explore underwater photography and continually supported me as I developed my skills and confidence. His encouragement helped turn a curiosity into a genuine passion.

Along the way, I also worked as a lifeguard, EMT, and paramedic — experiences that taught me how fragile life can be and how important it is to notice the beauty within it. Whether I am behind a camera, holding a paintbrush, making music, exploring beneath the ocean, or standing somewhere in the wild, creating helps me slow down and capture something meaningful.
